Welcome to The Hoosier Illuminati. Macintosh bigot, clothes horse, motorsports fanatic (as long as they turn right), Anglophile.
Clothes and manners do not make the man; but when he is made, they greatly improve his appearance.

This morning
At 8:46 this morning I brought up Google Earth and stared at a satellite view of what New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin termed ‘a big hole in the ground that the feds haven’t fixed yet.’
What Nagin and so many others haven’t figured out yet is that particular ‘hole’ is never going to be fixed. Never. Eventually another building will be built on that site, people will work there and life will go on, but the hole will never be fixed. The hole is in us as much as it is in the earth.
What Mayor Nagin sees as nothing more than the federal government missing an opportunity to create yet another infrastructure project was the Lexington & Concord, the Pearl Harbor, of a war that is going to rage for a very long time and kill many more of us—here and abroad. Many of us understand that it hasn’t really even started yet.
To the upset Democrats, I would just remind you that the savages with whom we’re at war don’t just want to kill American soldiers, they don’t just want to kill Republicans, they don’t even want to kill just “neocons,” they want to kill you. Daniel Pearl was none of those things. Two thousand, nine hundred and ninety six people in the World Trade Center were none of those things. They want to kill me, and they want to kill you.
We’re at war. Get used to it.
